My name is Annemieke and traveling is my great passion. I lived outside Johannesburg for many years and now live in the Cape. My love for Southern Africa began soon after my arrival here, and I discovered how special it is to really experience this beautiful country. <\/p>\n

In 2009 I started organizing customized tours of South Africa through my company South Africa Personal Travel. This actually started spontaneously, as friends were increasingly asking me for travel tips. What started as a hobby grew into my full-time occupation: helping travelers discover the beauty of South Africa in a way that suits them. <\/p>\n

My trips take you through impressive destinations such as Johannesburg, Phalaborwa, the Kruger National Park, Hoedspruit, Eswatini, the coast of KwaZulu-Natal, the Drakensberg Mountains, Addo, the Garden Route, the interior and, of course, Cape Town.<\/p>\n

Over the years I have built up a strong network of small-scale lodges and guesthouses, so that my travelers always stay in the most beautiful places. I offer personal guidance during the preparation, put together a customized itinerary and am available daily for support during the trip. I also arrange car rentals, and recently I started organizing trips through Namibia. This beautiful country has so much to offer, from the impressive Fish River Canyon and the red dunes of Sossusvlei to the mysterious ghost town of Kolmanskop and the wildlife in Etosha. <\/p>\n

My goal is to offer travelers an unforgettable experience away from the crowds, with the freedom to explore Southern Africa at their own pace.<\/p>\n

We had a relaxing trip through North East South Africa. Perfectly organized, the distances between our visitor places were well planned as were the locations. <\/p>\n

The success of such a three-week trip lies in the preparation and Annemieke organized that perfectly for us. We got a tour book where we were going, how to get there and what to see in the area. Further tips , do and don’t , etc. Annemieke booked many tours and game drives for us in advance. <\/p>\n

Really everything, as planned went well. Something like that can only work if you have local experience or you know the people you make the arrangements with. <\/p>\n

Getting acquainted with the amazing nature parks from Western and Eastern Cape to Addo Good balance between travel (garden and wine route) and enough time to explore nature parks on foot with a focus on birding including penguins and spotting special animals like meerkats.<\/p>\n

The accommodations were varied and adequate. Her safe travel tips were valuable and she helped us when our flight was delayed and we could not start our trip until one day later. The car she recommended was fine and she saved us from unnecessary car expenses. <\/p>\n

Fortunately, we ended up with Annemieke, she consulted with me to plan our trip and book several beautiful locations. We also booked our minivan with Annemieke. Unfortunately the weather was very bad for us in this trip, storms and a lot of rain, so several locations had to be rebooked. <\/p>\n

We will definitely go again, it is terribly beautiful in South Africa.<\/p>\n
